National Seed Association of India (NSAI) (NSAI) is the apex body of the Indian seed industry and was established  in 2007 with the vision to create an innovative, dynamic, research-based industry that is internationally competitive, producing high-quality seeds and planting materials that benefit farmers and significantly  contribute to the sustainable growth of Indian Agriculture

The Mission of the National Seeds Association of India is to encourage investment in Agriculture R & D and bring to the Indian farmer superior seeds which are high performance and can be made to suit a variety of climatic zones. Increasing awareness around crop technologies, upgrading the forthcoming technology, and participating in a dialogue with regulators for the establishment of a just and equitable regulatory system that is transparent and effective, are some of the secondary activities of NSAI. 

The organization strives to achieve regulation of the seed industry, push the growth of quality seed supply, reduce the use of the poor quality seed, and any other negative impacts on the growth of Agriculture in India.

NSAI is responsible for not only supply but also procurement of high-quality seeds and planting material which would be beneficial to farmers and have a strong push towards increasing the yield and productivity of crops. The association works towards globalizing the seed industry, promoting the export of seed, harmonization of the regulatory environment, and investment in the seed industry. NSAI offers beneficiaries a complete choice of products which include Breeder Seeds, Hedge Lucerne Seeds, Natural Amaranth Seeds, Tukmalanga Seed, and Hybrid  Paddy Seeds. 

The association works towards globalizing the seed industry, promoting the export of seed, harmonization of the regulatory environment, and investment in the seed industry.
