Introduction

Arvind and Ajeet Godara established AgriBolo, an agritech platform, in Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan. Growing up in a farming family, they aimed to support rural farmers in earning more and becoming self-reliant. They created AgriBolo using both physical Kisan Seva Kendras and digital solutions like the AgriBolo app and Kisan Call Centre. This combined approach offers farmers agricultural tips, quality farming products, and fair market access. By prioritizing rural challenges, AgriBolo works to reach even distant farmers with the tools they need to succeed in farming.

Tackling Agricultural Challenges

Farmers in India face several issues such as a lack of reliable supplies, fluctuating market rates, and limited guidance. These issues often result in low production, high costs, and irregular income. AgriBolo offers a comprehensive solution that combines quality inputs, professional advice, and strong market links. The service allows farmers to make smarter decisions, avoid waste, and increase their income. Its flexible approach ensures support is accessible through online tools, personal visits, or phone calls at any needed moment.

Key Offerings

  • Multilingual Mobile App: Delivers personalized agri-advisory, curated educational videos, input listings, e-trading for crops, and equipment rentals.
  • Franchise-Based Kisan Seva Kendras: Physical outlets that serve over 2,000 farmers in a 15–20 km radius, providing easy access to farm inputs and services.
  • Digitized Call Centre: An order fulfillment and support hub, offering expert assistance across the agri-value chain over phone in local languages.
  • Virtual Buyer-Seller Interface: Enables farmers to connect directly with buyers, ensuring transparent pricing and better market realization.
  • Integrated Services: From sowing to selling, AgriBolo supports farmers across every stage of their agri-journey.

Real Impact

AgriBolo’s dual-channel approach has significantly uplifted farming communities in Rajasthan and Haryana. The company’s expanding Kisan Seva Kendra network and user-friendly digital tools have given thousands of small farmers the ability to get trusted inputs, live advice, and direct links to markets. By March 2023, AgriBolo shared that it had an annual revenue of Rs.32.4 crore ($4.03 million) and a team of more than 115 employees, with many coming from rural backgrounds. This localized employment and farmer-first innovation model has enhanced yields, improved price realization, and promoted sustainable farming practices.

Success Story

One such story is of Rajendra Singh, a maize farmer from Bhadra, Rajasthan. Before AgriBolo, Rajendra relied on informal sources for seeds and local traders for crop sales—often resulting in crop failures and low returns. With AgriBolo’s Kisan Seva Kendra nearby, he began purchasing certified seeds and availing expert crop advisory via the app. He later sold his maize through AgriBolo’s digital market linkage, earning 22% more than his previous year’s price. Rajendra now uses the platform regularly, and his story is inspiring neighboring farmers to shift to tech-backed agriculture.
