Eligibility & Application
Eligibility: The SKN Agri-Business Incubator invites applications from early-stage startups, rural innovators, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), agripreneurs, and students working in agriculture and allied sectors. Eligible domains include AgriTech, Agri-Input, Agri-Waste & Sustainability, Animal Husbandry, and sustainable farming practices. As one of the leading Agri Incubators in India, SKN ABI supports individuals and enterprises with innovative, scalable, and impactful agri-business ideas aimed at transforming the agricultural ecosystem.
Application Process: Interested candidates can apply through the official SKNAU website by filling out the application form available under the Agri-Business Incubator section. Applications are accepted during designated periods, usually in April and October. Once submitted, proposals are evaluated by an expert committee based on innovation, feasibility, and market potential. Shortlisted applicants are called for interviews or pitching sessions. Final selections are made for either Pre-Incubation or Incubation categories, and selected startups may receive grant-in-aid support of up to ₹25 lakhs under the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme.
