Sabour Agri Incubators (SABAGRIs), established in 2020 by Dr. Ajoy Kumar Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, is a flagship RAFTAAR Agri Business Incubator (R-ABI) under the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. The incubator was set up to promote agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment in Bihar and the larger eastern region of India. Through SABAGRIs, Bihar Agricultural University aims to transform rural agriculture by converting innovative ideas into market-ready agribusiness ventures.

SABAGRIs serves as a one-stop solution for agri-entrepreneurs by offering structured incubation services, including mentoring, seed funding, business development support, and access to modern infrastructure. The incubator works closely with students, startups, FPOs, SHGs, and rural innovators, helping them build sustainable businesses in domains like organic farming, post-harvest technology, agri-processing, and agri-services. With its strong research base and outreach through Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), SABAGRIs bridges the gap between grassroots innovation and commercial scalability.

The vision of SABAGRIs is to become Eastern India’s leading hub for agri-startup support, while its mission focuses on nurturing impactful business ideas that improve agricultural productivity, rural livelihoods, and sustainability. As one of the few RKVY-RAFTAAR incubators in the region, SABAGRIs has a deep understanding of local challenges such as low mechanization, limited value addition, and youth migration, and strives to create region-specific, technology-enabled, and inclusive solutions.
