Kota-based agritech startup Eeki has raised $7 million (INR 60 Cr) in a Series A extension round led by Sixth Sense Ventures, with participation from undisclosed investors. The funds will fuel nationwide expansion, advanced R&D, and technology upgrades for its patented Gen 3 aeroponic chambers. Founded in 2018, Eeki leverages IoT-powered systems to grow pesticide-free, nutrient-rich vegetables, achieving 18× yields with 90–95% less water. This round builds on Eeki’s $14.9 million raised across 11 rounds, positioning it to scale sustainable farming and target $100 million in revenue by 2027.
Eeki Technologies Pvt Ltd, the company founded by IIT-Bombay alumni Abhay Singh (CEO) and Amit Kumar (COO) in 2018, houses the operations of Eeki. Its patented aeroponic chambers under climate control grow staple crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies) throughout the year and at mandi prices. Using IoT and machine learning (ML), Eeki’s chambers optimize yield, resource efficiency, and disease detection, transforming barren lands into productive farms across Rajasthan (Lakheri, Nanta, Talera, Keshoraipatan, Namana) and Haryana (Bhilwara, Panipat).

Eeki’s technology delivers transformative outcomes:
India’s agriculture sector, contributing 18–19% to GDP (per a 2023 government report), is a hotbed for innovation. Startups like AgroStar, Arya.ag, DeHaat, FarMart, and Fasal are disrupting farming with tech-driven solutions. Recent investments—Grow Indigo ($10 million from British International Investment) and DeHaat (INR 200 Cr from Trifecta Capital)—highlight the sector’s potential. Eeki stands out with its precision aeroponics, addressing soil degradation, water scarcity, and supply volatility.
Sixth Sense Ventures praised Eeki’s “breakthrough model in India’s toughest conditions,” while General Catalyst’s Anand Chandrasekaran lauded its “India-centric system impacting lives and livelihoods.” Partnerships with landowners and tech-managed polyhouses offer tax-free returns, empowering rural communities.
Eeki aims to:
Eeki provides pesticide-free essentials through its aeroponic chambers, stabilizes the supply chain, and generates job opportunities, conserving resources all the while. Mushrooming its name to synonymous with sustainable agriculture, Eeki is bringing certain revolutions to India and beyond using IoT, Machine learning, and automation.
